The former national secretary of
the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas has been suspended from the guild
with immediate effect.
To this effect, members of the
guild and the general public have been warned to desist from having any transaction
with him on behalf of the guild.
Rollas suspension was recommended
by a probe panel instituted some months ago by the Guild’s National Executive
Committee (NEC) which found him guilty over allegations of high-handedness and
visa racketeering among others when he administered the guild.
The suspension news was revealed
by AGN President Ibinabo Fiberesima on Wednesday, April 30th, 2014
through an SMS made available to Hotmanpet.blogspot.com.
The terse message read that, “Emeka Rollas has
been suspended from the AGN with immediate effect for being indicted in the
national probe report. Doing business with him is at your own risk.” The SMS
message was signed by the president herself.

However, efforts to reach the
once powerful AGN former scribe proved abortive as his mobile phone lines were
not reachable.
